Texas A&M adds former GVSU WR Jahdae "Alldae" Walker via portal
Texas A&M continues to mine the transfer portal for key additions, and today, Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies received word from top offensive playmaker Jahdae “Alldae” Walker.
Originally from Cleveland (OH) Shaker Heights, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound standout is a big, physical receiver, with an exceptional ability to track the ball and adjust his body. He is always a jump ball threat, and traffic is of no concern.
As a sophomore in 2022, he emerged as a top playmaking threat on the Division II level. He led the Grand Valley State Lakers in receiving yards (623) and yards per catch (20.77). He was tied for first in receiving touchdowns (4), third in receptions (30), and he earned first-team all-conference honors.
Walker declared for the portal in April and immediately received offers from BYU, Kentucky, Illinois, Mississippi State, Pitt, Michigan State, Colorado, UConn, Miami (OH), Ball State, Western Kentucky, McNeese State and Buffalo in addition to Texas A&M, and following his official visit to College Station he knew he was ready to commit.
Walker is the Aggies' eighth addition to the roster via the portal, joining cornerbacks Tony Grimes (UNC), Sam McCall (FSU) and Josh DeBerry (Boston College), fullback Jerry Johnson III (Rice), linebacker Jurriente “JD” Davis (Jackson State), quarterback Jaylen Henderson (Fresno State) and running back David Bailey (Colorado State).
He transfers with two years of eligibility left.
