Apex Performance of the Week: Aggie baseball's successful Monday
Yesterday, Jim Schlossnagle welcomed pitching coach Max Weiner to Aggieland, saw three current players go in the MLB Draft AND got a pair of big-time high school players to campus. A&M baseball's successful Monday is definitely worthy of Apex Performance of the Week honors.
David Nuño’s Performance of the Week: Texas A&M baseball
- Aggie baseball is an easy one. They got the right pitching coach hire, kept some major high school guys (Gavin Grahovac and Caden Sorrell) and then had some guys go to systems that can work in the MLB Draft. I’m excited to see what Trevor Werner can do with the Royals. A&M baseball deserves a lot of props. The situation and roster could have looked a little different.
Olin Buchanan’s Performance of the Week: Quenton Jackson
- I know Quenton Jackson did well earlier this week, but I don't have the actual numbers this week.
Luke Evangelist’s Performance of the Week: Chris Eubanks
- Chris Eubanks is headed to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon. He just beat Stefanos Tsitsipas, who is the fifth-ranked player in the world. Eubanks is 27 years old. This is his first time playing at Wimbledon, and he’s the last American left. He’s facing Daniil Medvedev tomorrow, and he’s hoping to take down his third top-ten player this week.
