2024 Seattle (WA) O'Dea OL Isendre Ahfua commits to Texas A&M
When it comes to size, strength and power in the trenches, you can never have enough, and Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies added quite a bit today as Seattle (WA) O’Dea standout offensive lineman Isendre Ahfua announced his college commitment.
At 6-foot-5, Ahfua is a solidly built 295 pounds equipped with long arms, which allows him to project to both tackle and guard. He has a strong and explosive lower half, and his powerful hands often overwhelm his opponent and quickly knock them off balance.
Ahfua first became acquainted with Texas A&M at camp before his sophomore season, and he returned to College Station for his official visit the weekend of June 9 and again for the Aggies’ Pool Party weekend at the end of July. The visits helped pave the way for the Aggies to secure his commitment following summertime official visits to Utah and Miami.
Ahfua built strong bonds with Fisher, director of recruiting communications Mason Smith, as well as offensive line coaches Steve and Louie Addazio, and he also had former Seattle O’Dea and Ford Sports Performance teammate and current Aggie lineman Mark Nabou in his ear.
Ahfua becomes the Aggies’ 19th commitment of the 2024 class, and he joins Ashton Funk, Coen Echols and Weston Davis in Steve Addazio’s offensive line class.
