Apex Performance of the Week: Ainias Smith at 2023 SEC Media Days

Yesterday, Texas A&M took the podium at 2023 SEC Media Days, and wide receiver Ainias Smith impressed many. Alongside “Sub Zero,” Carlos Alcaraz won his first Wimbledon title at 20 years old, and both are deserving of this week's Apex Performance of the Week.

• I typically don’t watch tennis, but Carlos Alcaraz won his first Wimbledon title over Novak Djokovic. The 20-year-old Spaniard beat the best of the best in England, as Djokovic suffered his first finals loss at the All England Club in a decade.

• The shades were excellent. His press conference was excellent. When asked about playing Texas, he said, “Hopefully, I won’t be here. All I’ve got to say about it is horns down.”
