Key notes from Olin’s thoughts on Muhammad
- I am a big fan of Moose Muhammad. I would love to be his agent or marketer. He only needs one hand. We have seen it often. He had a one-handed against New Mexico and maybe one against Ole Miss. I could never understand why they weren't playing him more. You can't take that guy off the field. He is too good. He should have a NIL deal with Blue Bell Ice Cream for their "Moose Tracks" flavor. He is a spectacular player, and we have only seen the tip of the iceberg.
- When you think of Moose, it's like going to the zoo cause you see Moose, and then you see YAC — yards after catch. He is like Ainias Smith, but nobody is more productive running with the ball after the catch than Moose.
- I go back to that game against LSU. Conner Weigman trusted Muhammad to make a play. If you put it near him, there is a better chance he will make the play than not. I am so glad they are finally putting him on the field.
- Bobby Petrino's ideas include crossing routes. As I said about the YAC, Moose will get the YAC. Moose has shown signs of not just being good, but being spectacular. How can you look at the LSU game and disagree with that? I want more Moose.
