Apex Performance of the Week: El Bombi powers Texas to AL pennant
In this week's Apex Performance of the Week, we highlight Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia following the seven-game ALCS victory over the Houston Astros, as well as Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, who went off in the 39-38 win over the Colts.
David Nuño’s Performance of the Week: Myles Garrett
- How about Myles Garrett? The dude was phenomenal. He blocked a field goal. He looked like the Hulk. He's having an incredible season. It's an amazing year. Nine tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a blocked field goal. It has been that Browns' defense that has won them games, and he's a big reason why.
Olin Buchanan’s Performance of the Week: Adolis García
- The Rangers deserve it because the Aggies didn't play last week. I have to go with Adolis García. He makes the Astro fans mad. He's the MVP of the series. He had five RBI last night and a big grand slam the night before. What a player. All of this after they plunked him? After hitting a home run? I think that was on purpose. I don't buy into the unwritten rules of baseball and the angst.
