Basketball
A season-low 25.4 field goal percentage troubled Texas A&M as LSU overwhelmed the Aggies at Reed Arena on Saturday night, 68-53. The Aggies' dismal shooting performance disturbed their usual dominance in the paint as well, as the Tigers scored 36 down low.
A&M looks to bounce back against Auburn on the road on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
Women’s basketball
The Texas A&M women's basketball team bounced back from their SEC-opener loss by thumping Auburn 66-44 at Reed Arena on Sunday afternoon to improve to 1-1 in the SEC and 13-2 overall. Janiah Barker had a big day with 13 points, 10 rebounds and a pair of steals.
Up next, the Aggies take on Kim Mulkey's reigning national champion LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge on Thursday at 7 p.m.
