On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as Mike Elko had a heck of a transfer weekend and men's and women's basketball are navigating SEC play.

Football
Mike Elko has been on a heater. Since Thursday at noon, Texas A&M has reeled in 11 transfer commitments. Based on Mike Elko’s tweet, one has yet to be announced.

  • Purdue DL Nic Scourton (1/4/2024)
  • San Diego State DB Marcus Ratcliff (1/4/2024)
  • Cal Poly DB Donovan Saunders (1/5/2024)
  • Troy WR Jabre Barber (1/5/2024)
  • Troy OL Derrick Graham (1/6/2024)
  • Florida DB Jaydon Hill (1/6/2024)
  • Florida LB Scooby Williams (1/6/2024)
  • Wisconsin DL Rodas Johnson (1/6/2024)
  • UAB CB BJ Mayes (1/6/2024)
  • Kansas OL Ar'maj Reed-Adams (1/7/2024)
  • Stanford RB E.J. Smith (1/7/2024)

Basketball
A season-low 25.4 field goal percentage troubled Texas A&M as LSU overwhelmed the Aggies at Reed Arena on Saturday night, 68-53. The Aggies' dismal shooting performance disturbed their usual dominance in the paint as well, as the Tigers scored 36 down low.

A&M looks to bounce back against Auburn on the road on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Women’s basketball
The Texas A&M women's basketball team bounced back from their SEC-opener loss by thumping Auburn 66-44 at Reed Arena on Sunday afternoon to improve to 1-1 in the SEC and 13-2 overall. Janiah Barker had a big day with 13 points, 10 rebounds and a pair of steals.

Up next, the Aggies take on Kim Mulkey's reigning national champion LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge on Thursday at 7 p.m.
