On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as Mike Elko reeled in a pair of 2025 commitments, men's and women's basketball are navigating SEC play and much more.

Football Recruiting
Mike Elko nabbed two 2025s commits from Texas:

Welcome the addition of one of the biggest defensive enforcers in Texas of Forney (TX) linebacker Kelvion Riggins‍. He began his high school career at Dallas South Oak Cliff, and he transferred to Forney before the 2023 season. As a junior, he recorded 101 total tackles, 11 TFLs, six sacks, and 12 QB hurries to help Forney to a 13-2 record and second-team all-district honors.

Deyjhon Pettaway‍ joined Riggins as the third commit of the 2025 class. He is the younger brother of A&M linebacker Daymion Sanford and continues to Katy Paetow's pipeline to A&M.

Brauny interviewed his coach, David Hicks Sr., who spoke very highly of him, saying, “A&M got a truly special diamond, and he is going to shine." Check out that interview on the site.

Basketball
Texas A&M shot just 12-of-22 from the charity stripe on Saturday night as the Ags suffered a 71-68 home loss to Ole Miss. The Aggies' 54.5 percent rate from the free-throw line is their second-lowest percentage this season and the fourth time they've been below 60 percent.

The final game of the homestand will come on Saturday against Florida at 3 p.m.

Women’s basketball
An 18-point third quarter helped the Aggies overcome a large deficit and take a short-lived lead, but Texas A&M ultimately fell 63-51 to Florida in Gainesville.

Now sitting at 3-4 in the conference, A&M has a chance to come up for air next Sunday vs. Mississippi State at 3 p.m.

Baseball

Softball

Track & Field
The Texas A&M track & field team wrapped up competition at the Razorback Invitational at the Randal Tyson Indoor Track with a program record in the men's mile as Cooper Cawthra ran the second-ever sub-four minute mile (3:59.05) in program history.

Connor Schulman and Ja'Qualon Scott dominated the men's 60m hurdles, as the duo secured a 1-2 finish in the event and were separated by one one-thousandth of a second.
