2025 A&M Consolidated K Colton Chmelar commits to Texas A&M
One of the top kicking prospects in the country is staying home to play his college ball as A&M Consolidated’s Colton Chmelar has announced his intentions to continue his career in Aggieland. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder joins the roster in a preferred walk-on capacity, but his status in the specialist world speaks to the importance of this addition.
Chmelar is also a standout receiver for Consol and garnered Utility MVP honors in the district. He’s also an outstanding soccer player and prospect, earning a few offers on the pitch, as well.
His athletic profile and overall leg strength are eye-opening. It’s a rare combination for a kicker. He’s been good in games from 50+ yards on more than one occasion and has set a recent personal best of knocking one home from 66 yards out.
Here’s some clips from his junior season.
