Op is exactly right, Klein is in over his head, We need an OC with a Pro Style background if we expect to ever accomplish anything.

Kept running Amari Daniels straight up the gut like he was Mike Alstott.

SEC Less Ready

This game played out exactly as I thought it would.
A&M again was not ready to play and not able to take advantage of scoring situation's.
This team is nowhere close to being a championship team.
They don't have a championship mentality, Championship personnel, and the coaching staff basically as a group is inept.
Everyone excited about playing Texas again?
Be careful what you wish for.
There's probably more like this to come in the future.

Ik it's easy to be reactionary and no one is more pissed than I am, but i think some r going over the top. mike elko is definitely the right man for the job. this was always gonna be a tough year considering the players that transferred and the qb play. we'll be fine

That dialogue was very accurate and objective.

"We blew it, "it was a butt-kicking," "we pissed it down our leg," "we choked," "we have no excuses," "we got beat up front on both sides," "we missed opportunities," and "we could not tackle," are clearly descriptive of what we saw. It was a gut-wrenching, hot mess.

Four tries from the one yard line on third and fourth downs (first half and second half), were runs into the middle of the defensive line and were stuffed to both deny TDs and, on fourth downs, turn the ball over.
What made Klein and Elko think the second, third, and fourth tries form the one yard line would be any more successful than the first when the OL got mauled? The last stuff virtually ended the game, while a FG would have preserved the chance, albeit small, for a tying TD.

I never imagined that the offense would be impotent, and both the O and D lines would be dominated.

Considering tu's errors, the final score should have reflected a runaway. It was a beat down by tu, fair and square.

Finally, the game was another nationally televised, high stakes, belly flop for Texas A&M football. The tradition continues.

If you gave Elko and his staff every player from tu and gave Sark our players, Elko and staff would still lose. Elko has shown nothing this year, especially in the last four games, that would lead you to believe things are getting better. He's just a new conman with a smaller contract. We are just all saps who want so badly to believe.

I agree that our offense was terrible and definitely think a different OC needs to be calling the plays next season. As far as Elko goes , I'm not giving up on him just yet. As far as our defense goes, they played terrible, but they're also the only reason it wasn't a blow out. Scored the only points and made key stops to keep T. U. from scoring in the second half.

Klein makes Jimbo Fisher look like a highly-potent offensive playcaller.

Let's give Klein his buyout and wash our hands of this absolute failure of an experiment with him. He'll land on his feet somewhere. Don't need to treat these assistant coaches like babies.

Elko Stop playing athletic politics! You were asked in the post game if you Jan an offensive personnel issue and you took up for your OC when you absolutely know that he was the problem!!!! Anyone on this forum could play call better than your OC Stop hiding

OK, They whipped us first half. Then we played them about even second half.

We lost, sure, but it didn't end as badly as i feared at half time. I'm not happy we lost but come on... we played a better team pretty well. Sure there's lots to be disappointed in and my hopes for a great season are gone now but the world did not end now did it?

Texas A&M is STILL a great university and we have a great football program that needs to keep getting better.
