On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Live, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as the spring sports are underway. Men's basketball and women's basketball continue their conference slates and more.


Basketball
Tied with just 10 seconds to play, Andersson Garcia found Wade Taylor IV, who drilled a game-winning 3-pointer to lift No. 10 Texas A&M to a 67-64 road victory over No. 15 Missouri. With another Quadrant 1A win, the Aggies are now 18-5 and 7-3 in SEC play.

The Ags have a short turnaround, hosting UGA on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Women’s Basketball
Tied 31-31 at halftime, Texas A&M was outscored by 12 in the third as Mizzou dealt the Aggies a fifth straight loss on Sunday afternoon. In falling 69-59 at Reed Arena, Joni Taylor's team is now 10-13 overall and 3-8 in conference play with just five games remaining.

The Ags have a bye before facing Alabama on Monday, Feb. 17.

Baseball
We are just four days from the beginning of the Michael Earley era. A&M will open with Elon on Friday, Feb. 14, at Blue Bell Park. 

Softball
No. 7 Texas A&M softball went a perfect 6-0 this weekend at the Aggie Classic.

Mac Barbara hit .438 with three home runs, 13 RBI and four walks in six games. Kramer Eshete hit .636 this weekend with a SportsCenter Top 10 catch. Emiley Kennedy tossed a five-inning no-hitter on Sunday vs. Purdue. Sydney Lessintine (less-en-TEEN) pitched a complete game shutout with nine strikeouts, the most by a freshman since 2016.

Texas A&M opens the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational against Wichita State on Thursday. at 4 p.m. 

Women’s Tennis
This weekend, Mark Weaver’s Aggies beat Illinois, and Texas will face No. 12 Oklahoma tomorrow in the ITA Indoor Semifinals. 

Men’s Tennis
The No. 14 Texas A&M men's tennis team fell to No. 4 Ohio State, 4-2.

Track & Field
The Aggies capped off another standout weekend highlighted by the No. 1 time in the country in the men's 4x400m relay with a time of 3:02.88 to claim the 10th Aggie win of the meet.

Jaiya Covington posted a time of 8.09 to win the 60m hurdles. Jermaisha Arnold made her stamp on the national stage winning the 400m in a season-best mark of 51.86 to rank fourth in the NCAA this year. Kimar Farquharson added a win to the total in the 800m with a time of 1:49.00.

They will travel to Clemson for the Tiger Paw Invitational on Feb. 14-15.

Equestrian
Texas A&M will fell to No. 8 South Carolina on Saturday, 11-9.

The Aggies return home on Friday, Feb. 14, to face No. 3 Georgia at noon.
