RB Jonathan Hatton Jr sets visit date – The Cibolo (TX) Steele standout running back has set a decision date of March 22. Texas A&M has been heavily involved alongside Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Hatton also received an offer from LSU on Monday.
New name to know
RB HD Davis , Wolfe City (TX) - 2026
Davis stands at 6-foot and 205 pounds with a 10.93 100m and over 2,700 yards, 33 touchdowns and a 10.4 yard per carry average. If that doesn’t grab attention, you may want to get your eyes checked.
The tape shows Davis is more than just numbers. He brings a blend of power, speed and vision, and he prides himself on a physical style of play. He is quick to plant and go with the nimble feet to shift directions in a hurry. Then there is the speed to outrun the angles, whether he is hitting the sideline or punching it down the middle.
A student of the game, he studies Saquan Barkley and Cam Skattebo, and he is also a worker in the weight room, where he has posted lifts of 545 in the squat and 415 on the bench. He also has a few football genes, as his father, Heath Davis, was a running back at Southwestern Oklahoma State.
College attention is beginning to find its way in his direction. Offers have arrived from Kansas State, Navy and UTEP. He did not visit any schools in the fall, but he plans to visit Kansas State and UTEP this spring.
As a junior in 2024, he earned first-team 2A All-State and district offensive MVP honors, and in addition to football and track, Davis is a centerfielder on the varsity baseball team. He is also a standout in the classroom, where he holds a 3.7 GPA.
