The Aggies were able to get back in the win column with a 12-5 victory over Houston Baptist at Olsen Field. Texas A&M was led by dominant offensive performances from Bryce Blaum (2-4, 2 BB) and Logan Foster (2-5, 3 RBI).

Texas A&M swept a solid Fordham club on opening weekend. Perhaps more importantly, both Aggie veterans and newcomers showed a number of encouraging signs, starting with the dominance of three lefty starters and several impressive performances at the plate.

The Aggie baseball team started off a little slow on a Sunday afternoon letting the Fordham pitching staff take advantage on the mound. Eventually the bats started rolling and the Aggies began to dominate on the mound as well. The 3-1 win solidifies the sweep of Fordham.

Maroon bounced back from the loss to the Pinstripes on Tuesday with a win today behind a solid offense performance by Bryce Blaum. With the series now all tied at 1-1, the two teams will square off for the Championship this Friday at Olsen Field.

In the first scrimmage of the Omaha Cup, Team Pinstripes took the lead in the bottom of the fifth and didn't look back, downing Team Maroon 9-4. Houston Baptist transfer Jonathan Ducoff (3-for-3) highlighted an electric Pinstripe offense.
