Turner Larkins' strong outing in his first weekend start and a late string of hits were all the No. 6 Aggies needed to brush aside Auburn for the third consecutive game, advancing their record to 21-0.

It's lonely at the top, but the Earth rises to meet the undefeated Aggies this weekend with the start of SEC play. The Tigers are unranked, but solid, improved and dangerous. A&M returns to Olsen with much to prove.

Tuesday night saw A&M rely on its deep bullpen and some timely defense to get their 17th win, this one over UTPA. Andrew Vinson pushed his scoreless streak to 13 innings and Nick Banks had two RBI's in the victory.

The run continues for Texas A&M, which is now a bona fide top 10 team — and the nation's only undefeated one. Concerns are quickly shoring up and the Aggies are dominating in every other phase, just in time for SEC play's arrival.

Tuesday night brought with it the toughest challenge of the year to this point for the Aggie baseball team. After being down early, A&M used clutch pitching and the entire lineup to pull ahead and stay perfect.

Dreadful competition isn't enough to drown out the efficient manner in which Texas A&M has dominated at the plate and on the mound to open the season. While there is one concern, the Aggies' depth may override it.
