Best we can do now is tie the sips. If we win the 4x400 and they finish 8th, we'll tie with 34 points. Not likely, though. Horns look like they'll finish 4th with the Ags 5th.

Forgive me. I'm not watching the events right now but if you are talking about a relay race it means that the groups had handoffs within the allowable zones. No one was disqualified for a bad hand off if you see the white flag.

Well if the finals goes like the prelims, then we would get that tie.

2nd place for the men's 4x400 with an outstanding time. That mark will be the second best collegiate time this year behind Baylor's winning time today.

Betters looked alot better on his leg in the realy than he did in the open 400. If he ran the last 100 of the open 400 like he ran the last 100 of the relay leg, he would have won the open 400.

so the Ags and lswho were the only universities to have top 5 finishes in both men's and women's track & field! Is that right?

Barring injury, we should make a pretty strong run at both titles next year. It would be nice to be in contention for the indoor title, too, since we are hosting it.

So why wasn't Phrir there? Several people have asked but no one is giving an answer unless I missed something.

My question on Phiri also? Pat Henry is 'da man. $Bill will find money for outdoor track next year. I like our chances next year, only Gaylor was close in Big 12. 'Sips dropped outta sight - #46 on the Women's side. It's great to be an Aggie now. Only question is, who will win our first NC to go along with last years "unofficial" Equestrian NC?Soccer? Women's BB? Softball? and M & W Track & Field? And waiting in the wings are Men's BB, Baseball and Women's Golf while we wait 3-4 years to get FB back on track. I LOVE MY AGGIE FAMILY!!!

Oh, and by the way. Pat Henry's pipeline at
"tiger bait" should just about be dried up. Let's see how the "swamp kats" do next year on their own. And to dream further, get Jeneba Tarmoh from UT for the 100 and 200's, what a coup!!!

Next year we should do waaaaay better. LSU lost all of Henry's runners and the freshmen and sophomores we have should continue to improve.
