wish we had a putt putt team, that would be so awesome. Or what about a cornhole team? The NCAA should really consider expanding its horizons!
Joke all you want about bowling, guys. But I guarantee you that if any of you went out today, threw an eight game block with a 15 pound ball in which you had to generate at least 300 rpm's (one of the lowest rev rates on tour), release the ball no more than about a foot above the lane surface and generate an initial velocity of at least 18 mph, the first thing you would do in the morning is reach for the Advil.
It may not be the decathlon, but it sure as hell isn't putt putt either.

200 is "good?"
I bowled that at the end of a summer session PE class.
200 can be good depending what you are shooting on. Unlike golf, all the "hazards" in bowling are invisible to the naked eye. Before you throw your first shot you have no idea whether you playing the equivalent of Bryan Muni on a calm day or Carnoustie in a 40 mph wind. What you were shooting on in PE was most likely the equivalent of adult bumper bowling. Stand left, throw right and watch the ball come screaming back to the pocket if you hit anywhere within a 5 to 7 inch area 15 feet down the lane. What those girls were rolling was much more difficult. If they miss their target by more than one inch, throw it a little too hard or soft or miss on their release, they are in big trouble. It is a completely different game.
