No one knows Larson's ceiling and that's part of what makes what she's doing so exciting. She hasn't had the years and years and years of year-round training. You really have no idea what she might do next because the her precedent is barely there (last year is all you have to go off of).

58.6 is a tick above her best time last year, which is the A&M record. 58.39 won NCAAs last year. The NCAA record is just 58.06.

Her LCM 200 breaststroke time today in prelims is well under the Olympic Trials cut of 2:35.

McLaine just popped a HUGE mile -- 15:56...only five girls in the country went that fast last year -- most at NCAA's. 16:12 out of Adams 2.0 ain't too bad either.
