looked like a pretty good first day for the Aggies. How did they do compared to pre-meet projections?

After the first day of the meet the Ags have pretty much held serve with the projections.

Women have had a good day on the Hept, but a little early to predict any point gains there. Would be huge for Kunz to actually place 2nd. They scored 1 less point than expected in Javelin and scored well in the 10000. I did not include the 10000 into the initial projections because so few people had runt eh event prior to this meet.

Through 5 events A&M is in 3rd, 7th, and 11th place. Kansas is in 2nd and 15th.

Ags were projected to pick up 6 and KU 6. Javelin and 800m left to go.

Hept just finishes up the Javelin and A&m is fighting for points going into the last event the 800.

A&M is now in 4,6,10. Kansas Girl is currently in first place. 800 will be run in about 30 min.

Been going through the womens charts. Honestly, unless one of the Texas sprinters DQs in the 200, it looks very difficult to beat them this year.

I don't expect texas to get the top 3 places in the 200m. I expect some of our girls to hopefully split them.

I also don't expect texas to get their full number of point in the high jump.

There is also the chance that Kamaria Brown is in good enough shape to get points in the 400m.

Based on past experiences it almost appears our point totals are worst case scenario vs tu/s being best case scenario.

We'll see how the girls perorm though.

I hear ya, but there's some pretty big differences between the Horns top 3's best times and some of our team.

And yes, I'm also hopeful we could make up some points in the jumps.
