Howdy, Ags!

I'm here at the Rec Center Natatorium gearing up for the men's 1 meter diving finals at 5:00 p.m.

The Art Adamson Invitational features men's and women's teams from Texas A&M, Stanford, Arizona State, LSU, SMU, TCU and Grand Canyon University. Boise State also brought their women's swimming and diving team.

Earlier today, prelims happened for a number of events that have finals tonight.

I'll post the championship heats, and notify y'all of any Aggies involved in the consolation and bonus heats, as well as any Aggie alternates for those races. If you have a question about a specific swimmer or time that I didn't mention, just ask and I'll let you know how they did. Here we go!

The Texas Aggie C Relay team takes 2nd in the Bonus heat of the women's 200-yd freestyle relay. Arizona State's C team wins the heat.

The Aggies' B team took second in the Consolation heat.

The Aggies' A team takes second in the same event. Stanford won, and they were flying on that one.

Now for the men's 200 meter freestyle relay!

The A&M C team takes third in the Bonus heat. The D team took 6th and last. The GCU C team won the heat.

The Ags' B team got smoked in the Consolation round. Unofficially, they finished 6th. Here comes the A team!

The Aggie A team takes 4th place. Stanford's men's team is really fast, ladies and gentlemen.

Women's 500 yard freestyle is up next!

Two Boise swimmers take the Bonus. A&M's Jessica Sloan comes in third. Next up: Consolation.

Caitlyn Moon takes 7th for the Aggies in that heat.

Sarah Henry wins that heat by a mile. 4:39. Fastest time in America this season. Wow. 5 Ags in the top six in that heat! The men are coming up next.

Mitch Glander takes second in the Bonus heat. Sorry for the lack of times, Ags. The scoreboard is broken, and I don't have them.

GCU wins the consolation heat. The Aggies come in at 5th and 8th.

Stanford wins the A heat with a time of 4:20. Muzek comes in at 8th for the Ags at 4:30.

Next up: the women's 200 m Idividual Medley.

SMU wins the D heat in 2:01. Corinne Priest comes in at 3rd for the Ags at 2:03.

SMU with a great combacomeback in the Bonus heat. The winning time was 2:02.59. Laura Norman came in 6th for the Ags at 2:03.

LSU takes the top 2 spots in the Consolation heat. Meredith Oliver comes in 5th for the Ags with a time of 1:59.

Here comes the Championship! 6 Aggies out of 8 swimmers in this one!

Sarah Henry wins with a time of 1:56.4! The Ags take the top 4 spots. NoNowor the men's 200 yard IM!

TCU wins the D heat. No Aggies in the race.

Duplechain takes second for the Ags, posting a 1:50.81. Bonetti was about half a second behind and comes in third.

Antoine Marc with a big comeback in the Consolation heat! He takes first place!

No Aggies in the Championship heat. Stanford takes the top 5 spots. They continue to be really, really fast. Here comes the ladies' 50 yard freestyle!

Claude Brandt wins it for the Aggies in heat D. She swam it in 23.02!

Kelli Benjamin wins the C heat for the home team. The Ags also took second and fourth!

Malone comes in third in the B heat. Boise State grabs the win.

The Ags take 4th and 5th in the Championship. Manuel wins it for Stanford. She posted the fastest time in the nation this year.

Shaw takes 5th in the D heat of the men's 50 free for the Aggies.

Morey takes sixth for the Ags in the Bonus heat.
