Very happy for Hillary Montgomery getting to nationals in the 10k in her senior season.

I am really happy for the Aggie women. They have done well especially getting three sprinters in 100m to NCAA and possibly three in the 200m as well. I will really love to see Olivia make it but she will really have to run well to do so especially being her senior year.
Not sure if we have enough scorers to win the championship because the 100m and 200m would be very competitive.

I really amazed at how USC has turned around their program in one year and are right up there with the best in both men and women. Not sure but it must have been a coaching change or something. I remembered Justyn Thymes turned us down for USC.

I think the favorite must be Oregon. To have two sprinters under 11 seconds is amazing. Jenna Prandini @ 10.92 and Jasmin Todd @ 10.88w. They must be doing something exceptional in Oregon especially when a couple of years ago they barely had any sprinters making NCAA. Realistically they can score big in the 100m if not a 1-2 finish. Also they are also the top two qualifiers in the long jump. Then Prandini in the 200m. Freshman Raevyn Rogers from Houston can also score significant for the Ducks in the 800m.

The Aggie men lost some ground in men's long jump and hammer. Hope we can get many qualifiers today in the Javelin, Pole Vault and Triple jump

Aggies were the top three qualifiers in the 200m and two of them end up in the same heat. In fact three Aggies in the same heat (Kamria. Aaliyah and Olivia). I guess Olivia will have to improve tremendously from yesterday to make it. I know she has been a great fighter for the Aggies.

USC has really turned it around and not just in the sprints. Oregon will be tough but interesting to monitor any fatigue factor with the schedule change this yr. Prandini's schedule on the 1st day could be:

4:15 4x1 Relay Semis
5:15 100m Semis
5:15 LJ
6:15 200 Semis
7:15 4x4 Semis (if they need a leg from her)

Ioannis Kyriazis (254-10) and Devin Bogert (228-0) qualify for Eugene. Should be a good battle between Kyriazis, Crouser and Dystra for the javelin title.

Chase Wolfle and Audie Wyatt look poised to advance in the PV by clearing 17-6.5 but the bigger news is Andrew Irvin no heights for Ark.

Potentially big opportunity for A&m to pick up points In Eugene with 2 advancers in PV.

Guys picked 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th did not advance to Eugene.

Moves A&M to a predicted 49 points while Arkansas probably falls out of possibilities to contend for the title as losing expected points in the PV pushes them down to a predicted total of 34 points.

Lightning delay until at least 6:30.
