Assuming no one beat's Bates 16.76m in the triple jump, Florida needs to finish 6th or better to tie or beat us in the 4x400 (assuming we get 1st).

No doubt. There is bad blood between the two schools. Controversial dq in the 400 at indoors cost Florida the title. I think the call was probably right but indoors often sees contact like that unpunished. I still think we are good to win this.

Never say never. Crazy things can happen.

I am wrong. Didn't factor missing field events which I thought were in total. We need help in mile relay. We will win and probably set new collegiate record. Question is whether we can get enough help. There are several teams in the final good enough to beat Florida but the question is how hard they will run.

Florida guys have history of running in to trouble in relays. Have to hope that will happen again.

It's possible they can drop the stick and get out of their lane picking it up, but that's what it would take for us to win it

At NCAA indoors in New Mexico both us and uf 4 X 400 relay teams were disqualified for bumping each other. Our womens team was disqualified here at SEC indoors and cost us the trophy that uf won. Bad blood yes.

We need 1st and for them to finish 6th, 7th, or 8th.
