We kicked a** in the mile relay--all we need are a couple of throwers and we cruise. We used to rule the shot put.

What happened with Auburn? They have 2 guys capable of sub 45 but finish with a 52 and 47.

The meet got away from us with the poor results in the 800 and 400h.

Still a great team performance overall. 3 individual champions and 1 relay title.

Not forgetting if the high jumper and triple jumper had jump any way close to their best would have also scored. Jeff had a SB of 16.28 m and Cragin had jumped 2.18 m. As coach Henry always says who can do the best on the day will win the championship

Lindon is indeed a senior. He and Kerley will be impossible to replace in the near-term. The boys will still be quite competitive though.

The women's team will only lose Aaliyah Brown (as far as NCAA scorers go) but will add multiple athletes who will be able to score at NCAA's in multiple events. The two squads should be much more even next season IMO.

Lindon competed in only two outdoor meets in his sophomore year in 2015. Not sure if he did redshirt his outdoor season in 2015 then he might be eligible for one more outdoor season.
The men's team should still be descent next year with our Javelin throwers still being around, our incoming Freshman Gabe in Discuss an shot put. Will Williams will be a senior as well. I await to see if we would get any sprinters and jumpers transfering from junior college.
Our women's team loss a potential 16 points in the 4x100m relay disqualification and Jazmine Fray not qualifying. Hope those who qualify could pull some surprises today and help the team get into the top 10.
Next year our women's team will have Sammy Watson and Tyra Gittens. Maybe we may get a couple of additions over the summer. If wasn't for some injuries we might have done much better this season. Amber Ivy, Danyel White and Lajarvia Brown could have made a huge difference

I was also impressed with the 4x100m men relay team. Coach Henry did a great job with a long jumper, a 200m specialist, a freshman and a 400m runner clocking 38.72.

Really excited to see the women next year. If we want to be competitive, I think we can move some pieces around though, so we can get to 60 points to have a chance to win. Carter is running well on the 4x4, so I hope Reed, Desrosiers, Baird, Carter, and Kerley can be our 4x4 backbone. I hope we can drop Jazmine from the 4x4 even though she is a really good leg and have her and Sammy focus on 800-1500/mile. I can see them being deadly in these sit and kick mile races that tend to dominate the rounds. If Tyra can long jump 21'+, I'd love to see her compete in that and the hept since the hept and HJ would probably be too tough being the same day. Add in our throwers and some short sprint points from White and others and that should get us there.

Between Hite, Malouf, and Boltie maybe we can get some qualifiers in the multis to scratch out some 6th-8th place finishes at nationals. Gabe will brings some points in the throws eventually but it'll be tough depending on a freshman in the the throws. We need to find some short sprint points and hope Richard Rose, Eric Age, and Kyree Johnson step up in the 400 to keep our relays up there.

We also have to find Grimes' replacement and who knows if they have someone ready to go with them.

Serena Brown fouls 3 times and is out of the discus.
