Tierra Robinson-Jones broke two North Coast Section Meet of Champions records in California winning the 400m in 52.69 and 200m in 23.56. She runs in the California state championship on 1-2 June 2018

It was announced that the Texas A & M-bound Robinson-Jones had broken the eight-year old North Coast Section Meet of Champions record with a personal-best time of 52.69 seconds. That mark ranks first in the state and fourth in the nation this season at press time according to DyeStat.com.
But it wasn't the only emotional moment for Robinson-Jones Saturday.

Later in the meet, Robinson-Jones again heard great news. Her 200 time of 23.56 broke a nine-year-old meet record and ranks second in the state this season at press time. It was her third straight NCS Meet of Champions victory in the event, a rare feat for individual events.
"Ecstatic. New PR. I'm just happy that I'm PR'ing and all my hard work is paying off," said Robinson-Jones after the 200.
After the 400, Robinson-Jones admitted that the meet record was special. She said she was looking for "52, and to break the record." The previous record was 53.06 set by Deer Valley's Chizoba Okodogbe in 2010.

Tierra Robinson-Jones won the 400m in 52.37 (PB) and 200m in 23.66 at the California state championship yesterday. Her 400m time would have been good enough to make NCAA.
We should have a good 400m ladies group next year. Hope Jaevin Reed will be fully fit

We should be adding Grant & Jamal Walton to a senior-less group that has clocked 3:01 multiple times already this year. Next year's 4x4 should be terrific.
