Great pickup from one of the top programs in the state out of the Woodlands! She has track Pr's of 10:47 in the 3200 and 5:07 in the mile! She hasn't raced a lot this season in xc but she did run a 17:19 3 mile but her 5k cross Pr is 18:07 which is strong!! A very solid first pick up! I love when we recruit from big programs, the Woodlands is always loaded so great to get in there and create a pipeline!

At one of the interviews Coach McRaven said one of athletes was ineligible to compete so I guess it was Chandon Chhikara who may have ran out of legibility to compete.

sorry, my moms been hospitalized all month so I haven't had time to do much!!!

But I'm watching on my phone on SEC Network righter now! I'm excited! We need consistency on the men's side behind a Casarez and Chung. Hopefully Cawthra can run well and the freshman aren't intimidated in their first conference race!

The women's side it's all about NUMBER 5! Behind Livingston, Fontenot, Brown, and Johnson! We need someone close behind them! We do that and they exceed expectations!

WHAT A DAY FOR OUR MEN! After a slow start to the season and losing key guys from last years squad! Our guys worked and showed up when it counted the most! Casarez led the way in 10th! But the MVP of the race is Cooper Cawthra who placed 24th! Last year he was 59th at this meet! 1500/1600 meter specialist to now a DISTANCE SPECIALIST! His range is increasing!!! Way to go Cawthra! Right behind him was Chung who we can always count on! And what a bounce back run from Joseph Benn! The college station high alum started the year off slow but ran best when we needed him!! What a run for him! He placed 54th in this meet last year! And to round out the 5 was freshman Jack Johnston! Not intimidated by the SEC competition he ran well to help us secure 4th as a team! The announcers were shocked we ran so well! A great day where everyone had a good day in the same day!!! Way to go Ags! One of our best finishes since we joined the conference! Gig'em!

Our women run just as well earning 6th place today after last years 8th place finish! This women's side had many questions coming into the season after we lost a lot of experience! But plug in a strong transfer, a strong freshman, and have your veterans show huge improvements and not only were those questions answered but we improved! Livingston continues her excellence placing 24th to lead the Ags after she placed 49th here last year! Looking very strong is the sophomore Kennady Fontenot who placed 29th! She's improved so much this year and her emergence as one of our top girls has really helped this team! Behind her is the DBU transfer Madison Brown who had a great run in her first SEC action placing 34th! Another strong freshman debut for Shewaye Johnson who places 48th in her first SEC meet, she's going to be amazing the next 4 years!!!! But the star of the meet has to be Emma Little! She ran so well! She started off the year a little slow, but she is here! If she runs this way in 2 weeks, we are going to nationals!!! What a run for our ladies!!!
