Folks gave me a hard time on here after Tokyo when I said Hodgkinson was going to be a real challenege for Mu. But she has an outside chance to lay claim to be the greatest female (non communist roiding) 800m runner of all-time

I was right there with you. But I guess I was kind of wrong since I said Athing/Keely would be a terrific rivalry. Athing needs to get her crap together for that to come true.

Do yourself a favor and watch the women's 200 from today's diamond league. Thomas stands straight up out of the blocks and is practically DFL the first 30 and comes back and wins

Thanks for the support. Despite whatever story is being told she loved her time at A&M and was very appreciative of Coach Brady and supporting staff. Also she's competing at indoor worlds so feel free to tune in!

Yeah I'll be the first to admit I was extremely upset at the time about the move and said some harsh words in the heat of it all, but prior to that I was her biggest fan and watched every multi she did in college station! I saw her on the start list! I'll always root for her and hope she gets a huge jump this weekend! Part of me wishes she'd become a heptathlete again!!!

Leaving the hep was a gut wrenching decision for her but unfortunately she had no choice due to an injury that took place at A&M. But ya never know what the future may hold!!

Never knew the reasoning! But you're right! Let's hope she can get some huge jumps and compete at a couple world championships and get to LA in 2028! We'll be rooting for her!
