Pete said he pulled Otter …. To give him a little extra rest for Sat. . Nils injury did not look great and Pete was a little miffed at the hit when the puck was long gone . Hopefully , it is nothing major because Nils was really starting to turn a corner .
The Nils hit was late and high. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a concussion.

On the game last night; that was one of the most dominant/pitiful performances I have seen in a while. The Stars did whatever they wanted and Nashville didn't want to be there.

• Pete DeBoer said Nils Lundkvist was still being evaluated for an injury suffered last night in Nashville. He didn’t want to classify it officially as a concussion yet, but he was not happy with the hit, particularly the lateness.

Waiting for this one to start, and I caught up on The Athletic NHL coverage. They've been doing a monthly panel this season, and the Stars were Cup favorites to start the year. They fell off in December and January but are back on top. As much as we can be critical, it's nice to be reminded that we're really just nitpicking. This team is really freaking good. (I hope I didn't just jinx this game).

DFW has a direct flight to Helsinki. I got a round trip flight for $630 last February. Hopefully, prices aren't bad in November.
Tampere is a good bit away from Helsinki. You can spend a few days in Helsinki and then take a train to Tampere. Could also rent a car and it would be about a 2 hour drive.
Tampere is the sauna capital of Finland and probably the world for that matter.
The maturation of Harley is the biggest reason the Stars have a chance at a special season.

I have a working theory on why we've been giving up so many short handed chances lately, that I won't get into right now, but I hate how Miro played that. The typical play is to take away the pass and trust your goalie to make the save. Miro tried to play both guys and it failed miserably.
