I have no idea what's gonna happen from here on out. This team is set up to make a long run - the pieces are there (maybe a little more D help would be nice). Should be a fun, and very tough, postseason. Whoever wins Lord Stanley's Mug this year will have earned it.

I wonder if the plan is to give a couple of guys Saturday off and plug Bourque and Dellandrea in, knowing what a big contest Sunday night is.

Then give Bourque a few games to test the feasibility of playing him in the playoffs, in the event of an injury. Because let's face it, Dellandrea can't score to save his life.
At the very least, give Bourque a taste of the big club because he'll be a fixture up here next year and a little experience can't hurt.

I think it's just to get him some taste with the big club and in case of injury. We're riding into the playoffs with the guys who have been here this season imo.

For sure. He's not going to be a playoff mainstay, unless something goes horribly wrong. Just giving him some experience and kicking the tires on the kid a little early. The way the team's been playing gives us that luxury.

Yeah. When I saw it, I thought concussion. After the game, apparently the update was that he'd " be under evaluation for awhile". I suppose that could still be concussion, but doesn't sound good.

Never like to root for injuries. Well, almost never. There are a couple of guys I might make exceptions for, but Mikko's not one of them. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.
