Team USA, while still getting scoring chances, has basically locked the game down in the neutral zone in the third. By my count Team Latvia has about 5 shots on goal, with two minutes left, which would have been enough to get them back in the game if they had scored on all of them.

By far the best game they have played.

While the initial seeding for the tournament worked in our favor, Sweden finishing in third place makes our quarterfinal matchup tougher than in could be, assuming Sweden beats Latvia tomorrow.

The good news is that our quarterfinal game is scheduled for 2:10PM in the afternoon on Wednesday, which makes it possible for to me (and hopefully you too ) to watch in real time.

Team USA women take on Sweden in the semifinals of their tournament this morning at 9:40AM on the main NBC channel. This is gonna have to be a watch on DVR game later today... which means no social media, internet, TV, or radio for me until after I get home.

It would massive and hilarious. Been arguing with some Canucks this morning and they are very angry. I still think they will win the game but it would be wonderful if they did lose. All of them are huge Sweden fans as well.
