Excellent news! Saw him play at Wimbledon this year. I was waiting on a decision if he was going to make it on campus. Going to be interesting now and with the transfers coming in. Im excited for tennis!!

Ags tied with Harvard 3-3. Down to line 1 Theo. In which, he is up 3-0 in the 3rd!

getting to watch that match from start to finish was incredible! we leave the weekend with everyone getting a wins in singles but the headline of the weekend is Theo.

After Harvard controlled doubles it looked like it was gonna easy match on their home court! What resilience!

Theo has all American potential after this weekend. He's going to sky rocket into the rankings in the next set. Could see him starting off in the 50-80 range.

This team needs Filip to seriously compete. He would be #2 maybe 3 depending on the day. Even better doubles player. With Filip, this team sky rockets in the rankings.

Theo was down 5-2 in that 1st set tiebreak and came back and won I believe 7-5. Crazy good!!!!!

How does the sec look this year, I know tu will be at the top, but is the league deep this year?

The league is middle heavy this year. Lots of teams in the 10-30 range. TU at the top. Then everyone else sadly. But the Ags can compete this year. Especially if we get our transfers eligible

it's a very deep league, but there is now clear #2. night now it's texas then about 5 teams competing for the 2-6 spots.

Thanks for the insight!! I just want to see us at the top of that second tier and not floating closer to the middle!!! Hopefully this is the boost we need, then everything with the transfers hopefully pulls through and we are confident and loaded!

Good news: Our opponent before ITA Indoors (Ohio state) is on the other half of the ITA Indoors bracket.
Not great news: Kentucky and the sips are in our side of the bracket.

I think the good news here is are there actually 4 other teams at our site that are ranked above us. No. I think tu, wake and virginia will all be seeded and I think we will be the other seeded team at that site. I think we are winning so far with this reveal. We'll wait to see who is actually seeded but i like our odds. I think the coaches poll will show that we are being noticed and respected after this weekend.

The men rise to #9. They stay behind Kentucky but stay in front of San Diego. SEC now has #1 Texas, #8 Kentucky, #9 A&M, #12 OU, #14 MSST, #18 USCe, #19 Tenn, #20 Bama. The men have an opportunity to vault themselves into the top 5 before indoors with Pepperdine (less significant) and Ohio St.

Are we at full strength?

To my knowledge no. We are still waiting on all our transfers( except Tomas, who probably will redshirt). If this team is top 10 without the transfers, MAN!!

Which transfers are not eligible right now?

To my knowledge it's Filip, and Damien. Those 2 are the obvious transfers. What hasn't been announced publicly yet is Alan Magadan who is working to be officially granted eligibility because he started at TJC (juco). Alan is taking classes right now, but another hurdle for him is he has been on the pro circuit and has played in challengers so it's the money issue.

Why are they not eligible?

filip is money from pro tourneys I believe, but might be wrong. Damien i'm not sure, it might not even be eligibility. I know he was dealing with an injury at the end of last year at NCST, but i'm also not sure. Definitely take all that with at least a small grain of salt but with the info I have that's what I'mled to believe.

I was also curious why we didn't see Filip travel with the team to Harvard. Well the reason is he was qualifying to compete in the Cleveland challenger. He did qualify for the main draw but lost in 3 sets to the 4 seed in the first round. However he paired with Juan Carlos Aguilar (former Aggie) in doubles and they upset the 4 seed in the first round. Saw a few points and man if we get him in the line up he would be a huge boost. He can play any line in doubles (I would be very intrigued to see a Togan/Filip pairing), and top 2 in singles. I'm assuming that he will be very diligent with any prize money now and moving forward since he transferred.

where does JC fall in the lineup assuming 2 of the 3 can play?

I highly doubt the NC state transfer cracks the top 6 of the lineup. My bet is JC ends up #3
