Bold predictions: Hrastar is an all-American at Auburn this year & Jackson plays top 3 for the Aggies by the end of the spring, if she plays.
I agree on Jennifer's upside and I've seen her play live, but I see no way she plays top 3 for a healthy Aggie squad in the Spring. We have three players in the top 15 of all of college with 11+ UTRs. If Jennifer passes one of them Freshman year hello natty and she will go pro not long after. Would love to see it. If she plays #5 ahead of Jeanette - which I could see happening - watch out.Harry Dunne said:
I think people are severely underrating both Hrastar and Jennifer Jackson.

Agree. A win for everyone.aggiedrjdub said:
Her UTR only put her at line 6 at most in our current lineup. Great doubles player, though. This really seems like Mark releasing someone bc he knows someone else is coming. Ava comes here for one year to compete for a conference and national title at line 6 singles and line 3 doubles, or she goes to Auburn, is guaranteed a top 3 singles line and line 1 doubles and plans for a future in tennis after college. That's the way I see it strictly based on numbers.
aggiedrjdub gets it. Of course it's not perfect but it is easily the best measure available.aggiedrjdub said:
HOWEVER, it is meaningful enough that the conference will force a UTR lineup at conference finals and ncaa will also frown upon obvious lineup manipulation. I think a graduate student that has a career high UTR of 10.15 is solid, but isn't going to play top 3 or 4 for us. You cannot seriously argue that. At MOST she would have been line 5 and more than likely she's fighting for line 6. Doubles? She would factor into either line 2 or 3. Whatever line Jeanette and Nicole aren't playing. She could have seen what happened to Sydney Fitch and flinched.
I do not think she was poached. She either realized she isn't good enough to see the top of the lineup at A&M, or Mark has someone else he's targeted and he released her.
That Lopata jump is so impressive. Only loss we took in the final.Anchorhold said:
Absolutely meaningless. Meanwhile....

Six of the nine women's QWCs are given to players who competed at the @USTAGirlsNatls event, which has to be a record.

That does not include Iva Jovic, the champion, who received a main draw wild card. https://t.co/HAhYMjroaJ

It's ironic that none of the current girls transferred to play for Jordan at Auburn. I find that a bit interesting. Mark obviously did all the recruiting with Hrastar and now she is the lone person going to Auburn. The recruiting storylines don't seem to quite add up to me.
Lucianna Perez, a rising sophomore at @AggieWTEN, wins her second title of the summer at first at the W35 level in Chacabuco 🇦🇷.

I'm sure most realize, but Vecic played #2 for Georgia in the NCAA final. Lulu played #5. We were just unstoppable in the tourney.Aggie Tennis said:

Yeah...Carson destroyed her on that 3rd set. I sat on that court watching it live.

Small minority. If you go through the threads you will see many Aggies thanking him and wishing him well at Auburn.Jaxson00 said:
I don't appreciate fellow Aggies cutting up Jordan like this. He gave everything to both of the tennis programs for over a decade and the national championship would not have happened without him, so lets show some respect.
Saying that he is an unhappy person is highly uncalled for and comes from someone who obviously does not know him at all.
