Pretty sure Bendet and Nunez can score 60 points at the state meet on their own. Has any team ever won a state championship with only 2 athletes?

One question. Are we going to have enough for a sprint relay this year?

Probably, but probably not a scoring one There will be guys returning who are hopefully healthy this year like Devantae Mount and Keanu Jones. We'll return Jordan Chopane and Pierre Goree. We also brought in some other freshman, but not sure if they move the needle. We haven't added any short sprinters in the portal, for some reason we went out and got 3 more 400 runners even though it seems that's 80% of our roster Issam Asinga is appealing his case but I doubt he'll ever race in an Aggie uniform unfortunately, although he's still enrolled.

However I'd expect or at least HOPE we add someone at the start of next semester like Henry usually does.

Not even sure if the pole vaulter we added Alexsandr Solovev even makes it to campus. He's not enrolled now and Debora Cherono who was supposed to be on the cross country team didn't make it here after all.

I also thought Semira Killebrew would have another year to compete but she won't be competing collegiately anymore (at least not with us) but Henry did add female sprinters at least such as Jazmine Montgomery and Bria Bullard and Latasha Smith

Who knows when we'll have a roster though… our team is always one of the last to post it

With the NCAA imposing limits on the size of track teams, how will the Ags handle this?

Yes she took an OV here! She's an excellent hurdler who's pr's are 100 hurdles - 13.68, 300 hurdles - 41.20, and 400 hurdles 1:00.57! Would love to have her!

Are the Ags expected to sign a lot of people tomorrow?

There haven't been many commitments on the track side, the distance signees are great! I'm hoping more will announce! We're being real deliberate with offers and going after top quality so I'm excited and interested to see who else we add! Also hoping to see some junior college or portal adds that can come in during the spring!

But unless we all compile info on signees and commitments here, we possibly won't know much. The track team does an awful job sharing commitment news and probably won't offer a write up on it.

A decathlete who started track only a couple years ago, I'm impressed and intrigued! He's only competed in two decathlons and has some strong numbers in them for being new to the sport, especially new to the event! Upside upside upside! I'll be tracking what he does this year!
