Performance aside, Stars get ****ed every year in the playoffs it seems. Two years ago playing Vegas (defending SC champs) in the first round. Last year we get past Colorado again and have to play the President's trophy winning Jets in the second round. This year we have 112 points and the second best record in the league, and for our reward we get to play the 104 point Wild.

As much as I loathe this playoff format, you lose in 6 in the first round to MN, you would've lost to them in the 2nd or 3rd anyway.

Ugh, this team has been so good for so long. Another disappointment...

3 deep playoff runs and a condensed schedule before and after the olympic break finally caught up to this team. No Hintz. No Seguin. Steel and Rantanen are clearly banged up and probably aren't the only ones. Just no gas left in the tank.
