Interesting discussion that has been making the rounds; if Jamie were to retire this offseason, who do you think would be the captain next year, or, who do you want to see as the captain moving forward?

Been thinking about this concept some as well after the Stars season, and as much as I hate these words and concept, would or should the Stars consider some sort of load management schedule for a handful of guys on this team?
The NHL, much like the NBA, has become so skilled, athletic and fast, that I think the strain on players bodies coupled with how physical it still is (and adding freaking games), lends itself to rotating bodies some here and there, particularly for guys over 30 or guys who are often injured. I know the schedule is going back mostly to normal next year, so it should help, but why not tinker with the idea of Roope, Seguin, Benn, Duchene, Mikko, Miro and Lindell here and there, etc. taking a few games off to get them some rest. We are a deep team for the most part, so why do we need to push those guys to play 84 freaking games a year and then go into the playoffs looking like bruised peach.
Just a thought as American sports leagues get more greedy by the day and lookout for player health less and less.
