Follow up. They had somewhat restocked tonight. Most "normal" sizes for popular numbers got snatched up fast. They had a lot of smalls left. Rantanens were completely gone. I was able to get a Harley for my older kid. I also grabbed a blank one, which they had quite a few of. I'm hoping Blake's will have the lettering and I can get it done soon. Thinking Rantanen.
They said they'll be restocking to some degree for the foreseeable future. Sounds like these aren't a one-year deal like the reverse retros. This is taking the place of the blackouts as a true 3rd jersey for at least a few years. They'll likely have yet another limited one for the stadium series next winter too.

On another note, hard to believe the pace we're keeping. Robo just looks automatic, Wyatt still just unbelievable for 22. Despite how competitive the national teams are, will be a huge bummer if one of/ both are left off.

I loved Pete and his old school approach ….. but Gully has this team playing fast , free but responsible hockey . The NHL is going to HAVE change the playoff format because Stars and Avs are the two best teams in the West ( hell the whole league ) and one will be done after round 2 .

Kadri would be a good veteran fit with this team. Tough, hard nosed guy who brings attitude and net front presence. Would just depend on what it would cost imo, and if we get healthy on D. We are most desperate on D at the moment. Could pair with Duchene when he comes back.

This is pretty awesome. The new 99 sweater sets all time sales record for NHL. I loved them from the first time seeing them but after seeing them on the ice a couple of times that has only grown. I definitely need to get one this year.

I love how they incorporate all the eras of our jerseys. Of course the 1st generation with the star outlined over the whole jersey, the black and white motif of the black portion reminds me of our 2nd generation sweaters and clearly the victory green in the bottom half.

Will be out a minimum of 6-8 weeks.

I consider this about as positive as we could've hoped for. Not season ending. Will be out two months, won't play in the Olympics (sucks for him and the Suisse here), but will get ample time to get healthy and back to speed.

He wasn't going to play in the Olympics anyway, he's suspended from the national team because he skipped the 2024 world juniors.
