Only two outdoor meets is strange to me as well! I wonder why!

High School meet appears to be January 8 and 9.

To be fair the high school meets aren't a part of our competition schedule.

True but if you are hosting them, you would want to promote the hell out of them in order to get greater participation/interest.

There were alot of kids their last year. Some even from out of state. Many of the relays were summer league teams. Look forward to this again and hopefully my daughter participating. I agree though I would not have known of it if we did not join track club.

We covered every addition throughout the offseason but one… Peace Nwaelehia she is a 400 runner transfer from West Texas A&M. She has a PR of 52.11! A position of need in 2026.

Having Farquharson for indoors is an insane boost, especially for a DMR. Although we did add Peter Narumbe who has a 1:46.3 PR and Reece Sharman Newell who has a 1:45.5 PR and a 3:59 mile.

Santorum did an excellent job in a 1200 leg, so we'll have options for the 800 and Sharman-Newell for the mile.

I'm so ready for your breakdown for this year! Who are scorers? Seems Henry has figured out recruiting in this new era! Wish he would sign a 10 year extension! Haha

I guess I'll have to do an indoor only breakdown first, but there's plenty of reason to be excited there. Bringing back Scott and all those guys will be huge! Ja'Qualon will be a medal threat in the 60 hurdles, David Foster in the 60, Robinson, Nortje along with transfer Lawson Jacobs in the 400. Sharman-Newell, Peter Narumbe, and Kimar Farquharson in the 800, Aleksandr Solovev and Oleg Ananev in the pole vault, Henry Zimmerman in the weight throw, Jedidiah Udunna and Kyhbah Dawson in the long jump, we'll have an elite triple jump group, Etoro Bassey in the high jump, we're gonna score in both relays, 4x400 and DMR. This is going to be EXCITING! And who's to say Pat Henry doesn't add any other big time transfers in the December window through grad students, international, junior college!!

I don't know how severe Blake Harris' injury was, but I'm excited for his return!

Forgot about Micah Larry from Georgia, he's a threat to score in the 60 and especially the long jump

We'll have an excellent 4x100 on both sides. Our women will be lethal in that event. Our men too with 4 new runners. Foster, Larry, and freshman Richard Lee and Matthew Maldima! We don't have depth there on the men's side so hopefully we're not done adding at the event

Not as much depth, but some heavy hitters! Sofia Yakushina will be the favorite in the multi's and we return Camryn Dickson and Jasmine Montgomery in the 60/200, Jaiya Covington in the hurdlesc Winny Bii in the triple jump, We did add some help in the long jump and short sprints through the portal! So we'll see some step up like Adrianna Tatum, Aysha Shaheed, Ariane Linton, Morgan Davis, and I'm really excited to see how freshman Taylor Nunez looks! Georgia will still be Georgia, but I think we'll put up a much better fight!

Do you think Nunez contributes immediately? Where does she potentially score?

Indoors I'm not sure since it's so new. But outdoors she definitely has a shot in the 100 to score and I'm sure she'll be part of the 4x100 that should be challenging for the title. I'm really interested to see how long jumping goes for her! I really hope she gets to do both!!! She can be a contender for points there if she picks up her a Pr just a little

I'm confused! Was under the assumption that the NCAA has limited the size of track and field athletes on any given year's team. The Aggie men's squad list about 45 members. West Point has up their 2026 squad of 95 members! Are they planning on cutting a number of track kids? THANKS!

They can "cut" these guys, but they're grandfathered in to their prior scholarship % and don't count against the roster.

How do I find out who is running what races this Friday December 6th ?

Saturday is the 6th

It's a small home meet so I won't expect any heat sheets available till about Thursday night the earliest but most likely not until Friday night or Saturday morning! I'll have a thread up for the meet!

But most likely we won't see many of the stars running their primary races and jumpers may be using short approaches, but we haven't had a december meet in awhile so I'm interested to see who's running what as well!!!
