Harris with a 416 point lead means if if he runs his slowest 1k ~2:50 then 2nd place would need to tie the world record.
Averett is 96 points behind Tucker in 4th and 209 points above Davis in 6th so he would need to beat Tucker by 8-9 seconds. Unfortunately Tucker is a solid 1k runner with a 2:29 PR. With Davis running a PR Averett needs to get below ~3:05
Seems like a solid first and fifth in my eyes unless Averett struggles in the 1000. However he'll have the 12th man bringing him home! Huge points for the Ags
Very rough score projection right now on the men's side: Arkansas 93 Tenn 74 (mostly PV) A&M 72 Florida and Ole Miss 54
I wasn't looking at start lists mostly just indoor best times so I probably missed some. I did take Arkansas out of the mile. I'll update it after the prelims finish tonight.
Ladies were not projected to score any points here, now we have two in the final! Let's hope they can score tomorrow! The ladies came in ranked 17th and 25th
I've been waiting for that Bendet breakthrough! She's a monster and only a freshman! Man the career she's going to have in the maroon and white! And that's after leading off the bronze medal winning DMR last night
