As the 25-26 season comes to an end, it's time to start a new thread for the 26-27 season for our 2-time National Champions! What a program the Dream Weaver is building. I'm especially thankful for the assistant coaches and support staff he was able to bring in.

  • 23-24 National Champions (NCAA outdoor)
  • 24-25 National Finalists (ITA indoor and NCAA outdoor)
  • 25-26 National Champions (NCAA and indoor semifinalist)
New recruiting info can go here, as well as all of our coaching assessments and anticipated rosters lineups. We all know how much it helps Mark (lol).

To the seniors that left it all on the court, we thank you for all you've done and look forward to supporting your future careers. To the remaining athletes - can't wait to watch you do it again and again. To the new recruits, we can't wait to see what you add to the program.

  • Lexington Reed, upcoming junior with high level wins, UTR: 10.76
  • Olivia Lincer, played #1 for Oklahoma State; UTR: 10.93
  • Ruby Cooling, international experience; UTR: 10.74
  • Yoana Konstantinova, international experience; UTR: 10.08
  • Sydney Jara, 5* blue chip recruit; UTR: 10.24
  • Rachael Smith, 5* blue chip recruit, originally committed to Virginia; UTR: 9.81 but has been as high as 10.30
  • Kori Montoya, #1 recruit in Texas and the Gulf States; UTR: 9.61(something)
  • *Anna Perelman, UTR: 10.19
  • *Tilde Stromquist, UTR: 8.88
  • *Nicole Khirin, UTR: 11.20
I don't have the paid UTR guide, so if you do, please feel free to update the UTRs with the Xs. UTR is a good indicator of level, as we've seen, but it isn't the determining factor of success. We just beat a team (Auburn) who had 4 UTRs above 11.00 and lines 5 and 6 were in the high 10s. Experience and grit are what wins when it counts.

i know nothing has been announced yet, but Nicole isn't coming back. We should operate from that stand point, and crazier things have happened but that should be our working position.

Thanks, bigfoot. I knew you'd come through.

I think the understanding is that Nicole, Anna, and Tilde are all gone (which is why I put them at the end). I'd love to see Anna back. She's a hard worker and a team player for sure. Had some crucial wins for us this season. I think Tilde just isn't a need-match for the program and if she comes back, it will be as a hitting partner and positive teammate. Nicole - I've heard has been checked out for quite a while. Maybe her mentality doesn't fit with Mark's work ethic demand? Wishing them all the best!

Women's Tennis Adds 2025 Big 12 Player of the Year

COLLEGE STATION - The Texas A&M women's tennis team signed the 2025 Big 12 Player of the Year Olivia Lincer, head coach Mark Weaver announced Thursday.

"We are excited to announce the addition of Olivia to our program." Weaver said. "The signing enables us to continue to strive to bring more and more championships back to Aggieland."

As a junior last season at Oklahoma State, Lincer ranked as high as No. 119 in singles, earning her a spot on the All-Big 12 Second Team in singles. Lincer consistently competed on Court 1, securing notable victories against several nationally ranked opponents, including No. 39 Margot Phanthala of Northwestern (6-2, 6-1) and No. 43 Gabriella Broadfoot of NC State (6-1, 6-2).

"She has performed at the highest of levels in her college career." Weaver said. "I truly believe that her best tennis is still yet to come."

Prior to Stillwater, Lincer built a formidable resume at UCF her sophomore year. In singles competition, she recorded a 152 mark, while compiling 11 wins in doubles play. For her outstanding performance, she was named the Big 12 Player of the Year, selected to both the All-Big 12 Singles First Team and the All-Big 12 Doubles First Team, and secured Big 12 All-Tournament honors in singles.

Her rookie year she was named the 2024 Big 12 Freshman of the Year and was selected to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team. In conference competition, she collected five singles victories and notched a three-match winning streak, which included a win in the opening round of the 2024 Big 12 Championship.

She played at the bottom of the lineup for TCU. She would not have made our starting six. At least not once we signed Ilinca.

Apparently she has a very successful business and spends a lot of time at that. She would have had to have put tennis first to develop enough to play for us. Like poster above said, worked out best for everyone.

Olivia Lincer was actually born in the United States and is an American. I guess she has dual citizenship. Not sure why she is listed as being from Poland.

She plays for Poland like Carson plays for Canada. She has claimed her father's hometown as her own since she was playing juniors.

Ha. I was definitely concerned if we could maintain top 1-3 recruiting post Jordan.

Now it seems that Jordan getting on his bad side has made him even more competitive.

I've been following closely since he was an assistant and I don't remember anything even close to the public comments he made this year.

Personally I love it.

She's currently making money while getting an education and continuing to develop. She won't leave for the tour until she graduates (IMO).
