She has taken sets off of Herea, Bennett, and Scott. All too 15 players in the ITA. All doubles matches were very competitive losses. I'm very excited about this. All of a sudden this lineup is stacked from top to bottom.

i really like this addition. She has #1 experience in the SEC at both doubles and singles. i don't see her playing above Olivia, maybe pushing Ruby but not playing below 4. it is crazy to think about the roster that we will have next year. The talent will be off the charts, and if there is anyone who maximizes talent it's Mark!

She was a 10.28 in August 2025, currently a 10.78. Not sure where you got 10.48 from.

So nice that Jordan is still recruiting for Mark.

Impressive addition. Needed more depth. Gives the freshmen more time.

She seems clearly after Lex looking at results but that's a good thing. Lex is awesome and is still improving.

No doubt she will improve with much better competition every day at practice.

And if Lex makes another big jump this awesome, that's some intense competition in the middle of the line up.

Looking WAY ahead at contenders. As we know rosters aren't locked til Feb 2027.

Way too early top 5..

A&M - defending champs. We are right back in the mix as one of the favorites. Lulu returning is a must. Huge opportunity to improve doubles. Mark motivated and doing work. Let's win natty #3!

Georgia - crazy depth. We are stronger at the top and they are stronger at the bottom (today). They've got 7 players 10.5 or higher and their freshman were awesome this year. Dilek and Dong were even better than advertised. And they get home court again. Although I guess they are now our courts?!?

Ohio State - returns everyone from a final four team. Great top two but lacks the depth of Georgia and not great at dubs.

Texas - annoying but I think this is the year they bounce back as a top contender. Top 4 are 11ish UTR and Ionescu very good at 5. They will add at least one more big name.

OU - they were young and very talented and then quietly added a new #1 from Japan. Mamedova playing #3?!? That's legit.

Likely contenders building rosters.

LSU - hard to call. Cross and Brace said they are done. However if the pros don't go well they will be back. With them, top 5. Without, major step back. Clearly have NIL across mens and women's. That will be deployed somewhere.

Auburn - Jordan will have his hands full replacing what they lost. I always felt DJ was overrated but Okutoyi was an absolute gem. He did add a 10.81 and a 10.71 and Kruger (10.7) will be eligible this year. It feels like they will be very good but not as good. Hard to call before Feb.

Pepperdine - another good young team that can make noise but not title contender without a big addition.

UNC - seems like they should take a step back but their history suggests they will field a strong team.

Next rung:

Florida's new coach will turn them around. SEC only getting tougher.

NCSU - they surprise me year after year.

ITA player of the year has always been automatic and separate from senior player of the year. Whoever ended up #1 in the rankings is designated player of the year.

Lu dominated that race in historic fashion.
