I've been in the same frame since I started the thread. You've hopped around and I've answered your arguments (one number wrong, didn't change the point, though).

Take your bandwagon fan crap and piss off. I guess I've been "on the bandwagon" for 17 years, every since I was able to see hockey, watch it and play it. You don't even have a team you support, you jump around to whoever you want just to try and be on top. Definition of bandwagon.

And I hope you learned your lesson, Devils/Stars/whoever-is-on-top fan. Take it heart. Consider yourself owned, and quit now before your meltdown is complete

Y'all sound like a group of little boys trying to figure out whose dad can beat up the others dad. First off the debate about who’s organization in the history of the NHL has had the most success is easily between Toronto and Detroit and that’s only because they where the Original Six. If you want to throw in New Jersey, that you would have to bring in Boston from the 70’s, the Islanders form the early 80’s and the Oilers from the mid-late 80’s and all three of those teams beat New Jersey.

Now between Toronto and Detroit, Toronto is hands down is a lot more successful than Detroit. Both teams have had great runs and since the beginning Toronto has dominated the sport longer. Now to answer which hockey organization has had the most success and help make the NHL what it is, it’s the Montreal Canadians. Trust me as much as I hate to say it, its true, I’m a Canucks fan, and we don’t like those French Canadians too much but we do respect what they did for the sport.

Now for this year’s playoffs, Detroit will win this round, but they will lose in the 2nd round. End of story.

wings and flames tied up at 2 a piece going back to motown. It would be fun if we played you guys in the second round. Lots of desperate hockey to be played (especially by the stars) but its still possible as of 4-20-07.

This thread amuses me.

kb2001, dude, take a breath man. We all know that Dr. Cox was right when he described the Detroit Red Wings as the greatest team in the history of professional sports. Even if these other hockey heathens haven't realized it yet. ;-)

Rocks, if you don't mind me asking, where did you play hockey at? I grew up near Lansing.

The Red Wings power play (or lack thereof) has me concerned. Also, giving ice time to Robert Lange seems like a bad idea right now. He was awful in the third period last night.

Even with all that, the Wings have been good at the Joe all year and the Flames have been terrible on the road. Detroit MUST WIN Game 5.

I can't wait...GO WINGS!

I think both the stars and the wings have so underachieved in the last several years.

I have a healthy hatred( with a lot of respect) for the wings. It was a wings fan who got me to fall in love with hockey back in 94. Ive been to a game at the joe. Its pretty awesome.
