Oh, and we've now fallen behind Texas.
I promise I'm going to stop, but this is just such a meltdown of epic proportions I can't turn away. In the last three holes for each of our five golfers, they've shot a total of +15.
By comparison, Texas shot a TOTAL of 7 over for their last 45 holes. Thus, a one-shot lead on A&M.

We have three holes left. If we can at LEAST play par, we have a shot to squeeze in at #10.
A bogey on 8 by Burgoon. If we can finish birdie - birdie on #9 we still have a chance, but we're gonna have to squeeze it for all it's worth. We've got to stay ahead of Minnesota.
Shauer bogeyed the ninth. Only Burgoon left and he HAS to birdie. Unfortunately, he's played that hole bogey-double bogey in the tournament. And that's one of the easiest holes on the course.
We bogey the 2nd easiest hole on the course to drop into a tie with Minnesota. Whatever our teams did to get ready for Regionals, it didn't work. Both were top 4 seeds and just flamed out. Sad.
what is the playoff to see who gets the tenth spot. If Bronson pars will finish tied for tenth most likely.

tu, tt and okie st must be blowing up on 18. it hasn't updated for about 25 minutes. they went off at the same time as our no. 3 group.
looks like we hung in there for a tie for 10th. I think the playoff is the entire team going hole by hole, so our low 4 on the first hole against theirs.
Well, at least Burgoon parred 9, let's hope we get in a playoff. Too many big numbers this whole tournament.

Unfortunately, barring a quad, none of them blowing up is like to help us.
I think they are playing 18 and we are playing 9
when is the playoff? Not until all teams are finished I guess? That will be a few hours from now.
As a whole team, we shot +24 on the front nine (our last nine holes).
Then again, if we had not shot so absolutely horrid on the first day, we wouldn't even by having the conversation.
Really, really disappointing.

The playoff won't happen until the tournament is over. If the playoff happens the Aggies have a good chance. Minnesota didn't burn up the course today.
I wonder if they're going to have daylight to get the playoff in today. Honestly, I don't know what the format is.
In the East Regional, they say they're going to have their playoff this afternoon, but they're further along than the Central Regional.

So, if there is a tie for 10th, there is a playoff no matter what?
In the college playoffs I've seen all 5 players participate. They go in 2 groups. One group has 3 players from each team and the other group has 2. They played the 18th hole. Only one hole was necessary to determined the winner. It's pretty exciting. If the Aggies get the chance, I'm sure they'll win!
Gap - Last week they used a scorecard playoff to determine the individual that advanced in one of the girls regionals. They did it due to darkness. I can't see them doing that for a team playoff. Too much is at stake. Of course the Aggies had the better round today so we would (should) win the scorecard playoff anyway.
Will Golfstat follow the playoff somehow or will we have to wait until tomorrow's newspapers come out to find out if we won?

Where do you see we lost? I don't see any updates on the leaderboard?
We played 18 in +3 (only Piller's blowup) earlier today and Minnesota had played it in +7.
Well, maybe I griped too soon. I just saw that we're listed below the red line and assumed that meant the Goph's beat us in the playoff (esp since it started 35 minutes ago). But I see nothing "official" listed. Let's hope its still going on.
