Why is it that we aren't being shown his most recent pic? The pic splashed all over the media is 5 yrs old.

Trayvon was 6'1 220lbs. That's a big guy. So, the implied threat may have justification. May being the operative word.

the pictures are to depict him as a "child" for more sympathy and outrage (imo)

this whole story is completely outrageous to me - both sides are full of holes and issues that obviously need some answers but I don't think a $10k bounty on Zimmerman's head and the Geraldo "hoody-speak" is necessarily the way to accomplish this

As far as Martin, it really might be the best picture that they had. They obviously aren't going to use a picture of a guy flipping the bird as his stock photo and I think that those pictures are often provided by the family or taken from his obituary.

It has become pretty clear that this whole thing is just media spin. Everything they originally reported was BS. The father said the screams weren't his son. The eye witness said they were Zimmerman's screams. the eye witness said Zimmerman was on the ground getting his ass kicked. About the only thing that is unclear is who started the actual fight.

Like I've said before, if this was a white kid and a black shooter, no one would know about it.

and the waters are so muddied by the Jackson/Sharpton crowd that now Zimmerman will never be able to get a fair trial, the prosecution knows this, and thus he will never be arrested.
Good job there, black power folks.

If Zimmerman wasn't such a wannabe badass there never would have been a confrontation.

Why do the far right wingers in this country feel as if they must demonize this kid? He is dead. Its tragic. What is the point in all of this? Is it to counteract a gun control worry? Is it to justify some internal racism that exists in their head? Something else?

Either way, the people who are turn a situation where a young man who was murdered into some sort of justifiable shooting are ignorant, stupid, hateful and more nasty adjectives that I cant come up with right now.
