Jennifer Cave. I was friends with her from high school and my mother and her mom knew each other well. She went to TSU and had moved to Austin and went out celebrating with her boyfriend and his ex girlfriend for her new job at an Austin legal firm. The boyfriend and his ex were Texas students.
They went back to his place and her boyfriend shot and killed her. With the help of his ex, they dismembered her body and left a mess. Investigators were disturbed to find that there was no attempt to dispose of the body. They were just playing with her mutilated corpse. There was no clear motive. All three were supposedly close at the time of the murder.
Her new employer called her parents after she did not show up at work. They tried to call her and then started calling her boyfriend who said he hadnt seen her. Her folks drove from Corpus to Austin and found her car still parked outside his apartment and knocked. Her boyfriend answered but did not let them in and told them to go away that she wasnt there. The police were called and they told the parents that they couldnt search without a warrant. The parents waited until the cops left, busted the door down and found her right where the boyfriend and his ex left her.
That has to be the worst as a parent.
