Sending someone to get lunch for the entire office

I walk into Schlotskys. Dude at the counter in front of has a list with at least 10 sandwich orders, all very specific of what to add, take off, prepare in certain ways. Then he's not sure on one and calls about it.

Meanwhile, all I need to do is pickup my online order.

Which begs the question - with the big giant order, why not order online and pick it up already prepared? Why send the office gopher with a big giant list?

Jimmy John's lets you make a group order where everyone pays their own meal and they deliver it all together. Pretty cool setup. Too bad it comes out to like $25 for a freaking sandwich and chips

Mind your own damn business. If I want to order and eat 10 sandwiches in my car, that is up to me! I only pretend to call someone so that the workers don't think I am a pig and ordering all that for just me. Half my freaking morning is spent trying to come up with 10 different sandwiches to order.

in new braunfels there used to be a deli/burger place called TJ's that had a sandwich called The Wrangler

It is the best sandwich I've ever had and I try and recreate it anytime I go to these other sandwich shops.

Everyone has online ordering or an app. We just have everyone place their own order and then a couple of folks go pick them up.

Always got a burger at TJs from back when it was in the house on Seguin st, but you need more meat on that sandwich and less garbage.

If you've never tried it, the pizza at Schlotsky's is really good. Has a coupon a while back for one and was surprised at how good it was. And only $10 and big enough for two meals.

I was really sad to see that place close. It was good. Every time I was NB that's where I'd meet my buddy who lived there
