That's been going on in France since WWII. My Father was in Paris then and said it was quite a shock at first.

Ever been in line for the men's room at Duddley's, and the door to the women's restroom kept opening, and there weren't even working stall doors in there?

Used to go into Woodys in Centerville 2x a week. Always went to the restroom first thing. Walked in and went to the men's room by habit. Got in the stall do drop a duece, and about 10 seconds later I hear women talking and doing their business. I'm thinking WTF??? Wait til no one else is in the room, and run out. Figured out they flipped the restrooms while remodeling the store.

Exact same thing happened to me at work 15 years ago. I was wondering why the F is there only stalls and no urinals on that floor (I went 2 floors up because my floor was full). Whatever, I thought, maybe a new design restroom. I go inside a stall. Then I hear women's voices! WTF, I run out and bump into 2 other women at the door who are coming in.

The worst thing is that that day was "Wear your college wear to work" day and I was the only one wearing a Texas A&M jacket in the entire company if someone had read what was on it, so easily identifiable.

Nothing happened.

I did the same thing at the one in Wharton last month. I got about 5 feet in and was like "where are the urinals?"

If you're a dude and accidentally go into the room with no urinals, just use the sink. Problem solved.

Nope but I'm aware of a tale whereby one of my classmates took a wrong turn and entered the room opposite the crapper to micturate on the unsuspecting fella sleeping on the floor. Good times!

My first semester at TAMU, my next door neighbor took me and my roommates to a real Mexican food place. The next morning I was sitting in the old First Baptist Church of College Station when it hit near the end of the sermon. I had only been a few times, so I went in the first rest room I saw which was a women's. Fortunately it had a lock on it, but at that point I really didn't care.

Somebody was in the Corps.

I was dealing with a fatality in Beaumont on late evening. I was tired, dirty and emotionally spent. The lawyer and insurance adjuster wanted to go eat. I knew I had to eat something since I hadn't all day. I went into the men's restroom to pee and get cleaned up. I'm peeing when I hear a woman talking on her cell phone in a stall... while tearing it up. I had to do a discount double check to make sure I was in the right restroom. Seeing I was using a urinal, I was pretty sure I was in the right.

I waited outside until she came out. I told her ma'am - you might want to check the sign before you enter a restroom. She was one of those Beaumont older ugly women with a lot of money. Dressed to the nines more makeup than Tammy Faye and enough perfume to choke a horse (or just the right amount for a Methodist church meeting). She turned around, got immediatly red and then ran away.

I laughed and laughed. A bright spot in an otherwise dark day.

I walked in on a grown man doing this in the Allsup's restroom at a urninal in McCamey, TX. Threw me for a loop. I went to the stall and didn't pee next to him.

I would say it was odd, but it is McCamey, Tx, so...

When we were in Germany, I was at a public bathroom using the trough when the cleaning lady came in and started mopping the floor. I was not expecting that.

Lifetime fitness was doing renovations one year so they switch the Men's and Women's bathroom for some reason. I guess they didn't expect gym regulars on autopilot not checking the small bathroom sign every time they go to the gym.

They put up giant banners soon thereafter.

In a short period of time I did this 2 or 3 times as a teenager. Once at Fiesta Texas, another at McDonalds in Elgin, TX.

At McDonalds I used the bathroom and didn't realize it until I left. Seems like there was a 3rd time but it's been years

Here lately I've been opening the door to a car that isn't mine. Freaks me out every time. I've done that at least twice since moving to Alabama and I've been here almost 1 year to the day
