Back from St. Louis. Tanya didn't look as good this week as last. She had a rough week w/multiple surgeries and fluid buildup around the lungs. She had to sleep sitting up last night because she was so short of breath if she laid down. The doctors were getting ready to drain fluid when we left. She was also going to be looked at by kidney doctors either this evening or tomorrow.
She's in an outstanding hospital, and they seem to quickly identify and address problems much better than happened at MU. MU is a very good hospital, but it isn't any sort of specialty center. With blood issues, kidney issues, and liver issues all ongoing, I think she's better off in STL. And Benny stayed awake for the drive today, which made it less boring.
