1570 sqr ft 3 bed 2 bath on a tiny lot. Wortham Oaks in northern San Antonio.

Miss the tiny utility bills, repair bills, 30 minute mow/weedeat/blow, easy to clean… it never bothered me one bit that it was a little starter home on a micro lot. I could move back into that bad boy right now if I had to and be just fine.

I still have it but rent it out. Paid it off years ago.

2000. Senior year of vet school. $90k. Down payment was funds made while day trading in the new computer lab in the Vet School. Wild times.

In '87 I bought a 3-2-2 new build on 1/4 acre with a gameroom with a friend for 80k. We zeroed out if it in '91. Whew, that was not financially fun.

1997, $37,000 - 2 Bed, 1 bath 1004 sq ft. I tried contacting A&E to have America's Castles come do an episode on it, but I never heard back.

2001. 139K. Or maybe it was 129K. Something like that.

Bought our first house in 1977 for $48,000; 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, 1710 square feet. We don't live in that town anymore, but the last time we were there, we drove by and were very pleased to see that it still looks like it has been well taken care of by the previous owners that have lived there. Brings back some really fond memories.

Betting you know my aunt and uncle if you lived in Uvalde. He was one of the doctors in that community. I used to go out there all the time. Love Uvalde.

2001. 1487 sq ft 2/2 new build for $144k in Lacey, WA when I was stationed at Fort Lewis.

1994, 1100 SF, built in the 1920's, Houston Heights. $65,000. East 13th St - down the street from Reagan HS.

I sold that house after a renovation. Had to move to Austin for work.

2013, 3300 sq foot, $373,000. Sold for a bit less than $600k last year.

Yep. Lot is probably worth $1mil now?. I sold it for $230 and bought another house for $275 in West U. Now on my third and final house here.
