I imagine it is insane crowded in the summer but yea I can't think of any reason not to go, besides the crowd. It's downtown on one side and waterfront on the other so it's really nice to walk around at. Lots of artisan vendors in the market and shops and restaurants in the area. Aquarium is right there too, just a short walk.

Only saw a handful of homeless people and one fent zombie, but saw about 100 people that were definitely BLM rioters.

Went last summer and took the city train from the hotel. The 2-3 block walk from the station was "educational " with homeless amd other assorted folk. The market was worth the trip.

If you're near there you're kind obligated to but I was thoroughly unimpressed. Kind of like a high end flea market really. Not nearly as big as you expect. Probably be pretty easy to find an antifa party to crash if you want to.

Yeah, when we went to the market there were easily 50-60 people in line for the starbucks. I just don't get it.

My dad did say that you can get merch there with the original logo that had nipples on the mermaid, but other that that I really don't see a point in waiting in line that long for crappy coffee.

Add me to the list of hating Seattle. Crowded, grungy, homeless, ****ty weather, rude people, mediocre food. Bainbridge Island in summer was OK. Snoqualmie in winter was OK. City itself was like Austin on the water without good food.

San Francisco, Portland, and some of the Seattle tent cities. It's just much more prevalent in San Francisco.

If you are looking to do the touristy things like the Aquarium, MoPop, and the space needle, look at getting a city pass. I enjoyed the market, its kind of like a flea market meets a farmers market, meets a tourist trap. The aquarium was nice last time I went, but I thought the one at the Tacoma zoo was better.

If you have time, go hiking on mount Rainer.
