Yeah my dad saw elton john at G Rollie in the early 70s. He said it was an awesome performance.

That's all I got.
This, and I would add Michael Murphy, and The Eagles from earlier in the 70s.chick79 said:

I think Everclear played at Reed in 2001 or 2002.
You left off Sonny and Cher who also played G. Rollie White during those years. Don't ask me how I know.apollock78 said:
I attended between 1974-1978 and saw the Eagles, Olivia Newton John, and Willie Nelson

Seems like A&M drew bigger acts in the 70's than they ever could now. I wonder why that is. Way more students and a nicer venue now.
I remember them being there. I've turned into a fan since, wish I had gone.Aust Ag said:
REM didn't play A&M until '89.
Looking at the responses to my topic, it's still looking like they were the "biggest" at the time they played A&M.
Suprised haven't seen anyone mention The Pretenders in '87, the tour after "Back on the Chain Gang" and "Middle of the Road".

In honor of the late FAST FRED, it's no doubt the biggest star to ever play A&M is Elvis, who played G Rollie in 1955
