Good lord. Faint memory at best. Todd was intro'd in season 5.

He just killed a ****load of guys 2 episodes ago for crissakes. Might be time to visit a neurologist.

If anyone is questioning why Jesse would finally flip now, recall back when the **** was hitting the fan against Gus. Jesse told Walt he should flip to save his ass. Walt's pride wouldn't let him do it, but Jesse's always had his breaking point.

What do you guys think Jesse meant by specifically saying to Walt on the payphone

"I'm going to get you where you really live"

Crowbar- I can't decide if that means Walts family or if Jesse thinks he can lure Walt back into the meth business by threatening his blue crystal legacy.

Either way it would be amazing if Walts downfall was being outsmarted by Jesse after underestimating him for years.

I have a feeling Walt is gonna go out like Scarface or Denzel in Training day but I still find myself hoping that Walt ends up on top

Does Todd "help" Walt with the hit, as long as Walt comesback to cook?

There's no way Todd's uncle kills Jesse. IF Jesse dies it will be Walt that kills him, that scene would be too epic to pass up.

I agree 100%. It would be an major injustice if Jessie dies and it's not by Walt's hands.

Maybe Jessie succeeds in completely going off the deep end by killing Walt's whole family. Walt pays the vaccuum guy off to disappear. A year later Jessie is cleared of murder/not charged/any scenario he is still free and working with Todd, so Walt comes back to end things his way?

I have no idea, and I don't even know if, what would be a triple homicide charge for Jesse, would even pass through the courts in less than a year, just a theory.

So, does anyone here still want Walt to "win"? As in kill Jesse, elude Hank and the DEA, erase Lydia, etc.?

I want Walt to get away with it. But have absolutely NO reason to live.

That just seems like the poetic ending. Skyler is dead. Junior hates him and is living with Hank & Marie. And the final line is "you're cancer free" (cue twilight zone music)

Given he's working with hank now, I don't see it being very illegal or anything. But he's kinda a wildcard now so who knows for sure.

I don't think Jessie is gonna kill Walts family, that's just the plan he came up with to get him nailed by the DEA. Jessie has shown street smarts and the ability to think on his feet. Or his plan could be going after Walts legacy. Someone above mentioned bringing down his blue meth empire, but that's already gone and walt doesn't care. Even Jessie said he's retired.

But what about the buried money? Yes, that's Walts legacy, he even mentioned it to Skylar "keep the money, don't let this all have been for nothing". Perhaps Jessie knows how to find the money and destroys it, or threatens to do so to setup Walt. He did have Sauls car and I've always thought Saul had a tracking device in one of the barrels.

It was good to see Gomey involved, so at least Hank hasn't lost all hope.

Skylar seems to have just given up. "What's one more?" Making the video did irreparable damage to her relationship with Marie, and she can't cope with that.

The job Walt has for Todd's uncle might not be killing Jessie. That's the logical conclusion from the episode but what if its some else. Skylar?

Marie killing Walt would be interesting, but I don't see that happening. She may try and get killed right back.

What if Jesse's payphone call to Walt was him changing his mind about helping Hank. He was wired so he had to talk tough to Walt to not draw suspicion from Hank and Gomie. Maybe he didn't really want it to all go down like that.

I'm usually wrong but that was one of my first thoughts before I saw Walt's "security guy" not be what he appeared to be.

I didn't mean Jesse and the DEA actually start cooking, just that Jesse could threaten to and hope Walts ego would spur him to do something stupid that would get him caught.

Walt had a line in this episode that I thought was pretty interesting. Something like "I didn't come all this way to let lung cancer kill me." Seems like foreshadowing one way or the other.

Walt coughed before he made the call to Todd. I don't recall him coughing before that scene and thought it was interesting they seemed to have focused on it for a second. He also likely didn't have his chemo from the last episode where Saul called him and he rushed back to the car wash for the gun.

Maybe he's saying forget the chemo, I'm going down anyway, might as well let the cancer take its course. The machine gun in the flash forward is going to be his way of going out in a blaze of glory with nothing to lose.

Agreed. He even called the cancer "silly". I'm pretty sure the cancer will not be his demise.

With that said, I thought this, too.

And regarding Walt's call about needing Todd's uncle to do a job. He didn't say who was the target. Should we assume it is Jesse?? Would they throw us a curve with that one??

Why would Walt calling the nazi brothers to kill Jesse be a twist? He knew Jesse was about to burn his house down, and them Jesse made a strongly worded, albeit veiled, threat against him, all the while people like Saul keep floating the idea of sending him on a trip to Belize.

That's not throwing a curve.

The potential curve is the target isn't Jessie.

Hank?

Going back to Gomy, something about him seemed strange through that whole thing. There might be some merit to him being dirty.

In this series I've gone from wanting Walt to win/succeed to then rooting for Hank. Then rooting for Walt again and then Jesse. Back to Hank. And now back to Walt.

That's not throwing a curve.

Markandles wasn't saying killing Jesse was a curve. He wondered if the curve was Walt ordering a hit on someone else.

Personally, I don't think so. It is now CLEARLY Jesse vs Heisenberg. Hank and Skylar are partners to each one that will try to help direct actions (granted Hank with much more authority).

Back in the first couple seasons I was sure either Gomie or the first ASAC had to be dirty. We know it wasn't the ASAC. Once Gomez did the knock and talk at the laundromat I thought ok, this guy is on the up and up. But things are definitely set up for him to burn Hank if he is in fact dirty. He's the only other one who knows about Jesse's confession and he has a lead on finding Walt. I think if he is dirty he would probably have cartel ties, and if the cartel still wants Walt dead, he could get it done. The other thing is, Jesse knows plenty about cartel dealings as well, so Gomez might knock both him and hank off to keep it quiet. Then again Gomie will probably be clean and I'll look like a fool.

I don't think there is anyway Gomie is dirty.... but hell, who knows. I just feel like at this point, it would be introducing a twist that isn't like this show.

then again, something has to make Walt decide to go out with a blaze of glory.

If Gomez is dirty, see my post about 50 pages ago. I can say I called it or, most likley nothing happens and I'll go back to pretending I know how to write excellent television drama series.

Does anyone have a list of Gilligan's clues on Talking Bad? I've watched it, thought meh, and haven't recorded it, but wondered if his "clues" are making sense.
